The Komet hightop has a neat little roofrack area at the back - an area about 4'x2'6" - with 3 chrome rails. there's even a ladder on the back of the van to get up to it.

But what's it for? It's too small and shallow to put anything big up there. You wouldn't want something small and heavy - it would raise the centre of gravity and be a right pig to get up and down.

Anyone found a use for it?

there used to be a glass fiber roof box up there but i think it was opsional and probably most have been used for other things by now and mislaid.

Must be similar to our autosleeper. Thats where I store our fold out bbq.

we put our khyam motordome awning up there.
