2.0litre Aircooled CU

Got service kit and Bosch plugs are WR7C and book says W7C

Does anyone know the difference between WR7C and W7C and whether they are ok to use...

I have looked on the net but cant find anything that compares them..

Thanks

R stands for Rally so your car perfomance is increased to 295bhp or so... sorry sorry I had to say that joke...

I have found in a forum that the R stands for special spark plugs with a 10,000 ohms resistence in the electrode. The guy says the resistence is like a filter for high frecuencies that is good for the quality of the spark plug function... That guy says is more or less the same that W7C

Hope all that is true!

I recently bought new Bosch plugs for my 2.0l air-cooled camper & they are:- W 7 CC. The gap is set by Bosch at 0.7mm - does anyone know
the correct gap for my engine? Although the van is 1980 it is fitted with
a 1988 a/c unleaded petrol engine? :?: :D :D .
