VW Gear box

Help , i have an 85 2ltre . When coming home from Devon tried to change out of 4th to find it jammed solid!! managed to get it into 3 rd 2nd and reverse { not at the same time} when its cold it will go into all gears ok but when it gets hot i can only get reverse, 2nd & 3rd !! took to garage but not very helpfull just said it had oil in !!!
hope someone can help!!!!

hi mate,
Aidan didn't used to do Aircooled boxes....if he can't help there is a company in London called Cogbox. Not easy to locate number,but I have it somewhere.
I will look it out tomorrow if needed

Didn't badger01 say he had an 85 2litre, maybe since Aicooleds stoped in 83 he means an 85 1.9 which is watercooled so no problem for Aidan.
