I have a westy kitchen block and have problem keeping the stove alight when i light it i have to keep the knob depressed sometimed for 20secs sometimes for 2 mins to keep it alight and then only one ring at a time.
could it be
1 using 28mb calor gas and regulator
2 does the westy hob use a thermocouple and do they deteriorate with age/ is calor gas's pressure/ calorific value not hot enough to make them work.
also the fridge has trouble under gas but ok on hook-up and 12v.
I have the origonal orange german regulator which says 50mb can i get an adaptor to use this or an uk regulator that boosts the pressure

Have a look at this thread https://club8090.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=54821
I have a 37mbar Calor reg and all works ok, but I do have a UK spec fridge fitted now.

Otherwise amazingdave's link to a 50mbar reg might be the answer for you, depending on the fridge & hob that you have.
You can get an adapter for a German reg to fit a UK Calor from Gaslow http://www.gaslow.co.uk/pages/products/list_3.htm

Hope this is some help
