howdy folks

scoobs has just passed her MOT (on the second attempt) but did not require any work to the exhaust - remarkable as I thought it was K....ed.

Anyway, there appears to be much rust in all but the silencer, which appears nice and sound, and much newer than the rest of the kit. Now, not worried about heat exhangers. Have been to performance exhausts who were recommended on line some while back, and had a quote of 160 for pair of j tubes to fit to existing silencer. Anyobody done this? They said that it may improve performance slightly as increased flow as bigger pipe.

Anyone any other suggestions for a decent replacement?? Not really bothered about sports look - just something that is a bit quieter under load. (tis fine at idle) Would like to get sorted before it forces the situation.

Cheers

Can surely hang on!!!

Can you put me down for a set, please??? :D
Thats a definite!!

Hubby has threatened to sell the beast if she costs much (more than about 50p) to go throught the next MOT. So getting all expensive work done during the year. SHHHH don't tell him the master plan!
