The fuel filter that has just arrived from JK (http://www.justkampers.com/shop/type_25 ... 10333.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;) for my petrol 1.9dg is far larger than the one on it now - new one about 5 inches, old one about 2.5.
Is this right?
Many thanks

Don't take this as gospel by any means but my previous van was a 1.9DG and I had to replace the filter. The replacement was twice as big as the old one but I fitted it anyway and had no problems. It's only an oversized transparent cigarette filter anyway.

Someone will be on shortly to point out the many flaws in my post no doubt......

You just need the cheap plastic stylee. http://www.justkampers.com/shop/type_25 ... 10791.html

The metal ones are for the fuel injected engines... prob work ok..
the small plastic ones are ok, but you really need the large type at the tank... more surface area.... less pressure drop for the pump..
