RUNS BUT WNT IDLE

just put my 19 watercooled bak in my bus at 1st wen it startd it run at 2100 revs an wouldnt cum down i thought the wiring was wrong and tried it a different way it wouldnt start put them bak 2 wer they startd and now it will run but not idle help would appreciated 1915 DG

how long was engine out ? Could it be crudy fuel etc... Is the throttle cable correctly fitted, are all the vac pipes on, did the carb get stripped, is it running standard fuel pump or electric, did the disi come out ?

How about the fast idle is it stuck on?
check the return springs on the choke spindle

the carb wasnt stripd the dizzy never cum out the engine wasnt run for six months i gota get dm air flow pipes sortd
