Hi all

my vans decided not to start. When you turn ignition on to warm the glow plugs the Glow relay clicks so fast it almost buzzes. The lights on the dash dim.

famous words.. but nothings changed. Anyone seen this issue before? I'd guess glow relay or a duff battery?

any insight before i buy a new relay?

thanks as ever

Looks like you have answered your own question,,,,,,Main battery is the best place to start, remove it test and if in any doubt replace it...

Sure... ?

I would now check your generator circuit... and charging/battery earths!

Don't alwasy blame the storage medium if nothing's being stored

yup all circuits are fine. both for lesure and van. theres no load on the battery when ignition off etc. the halfwits chaps plugged there tester on and sed no..

imo its more likely a one off. I have no issue either way. the chaps in store replaced no quibble and i didnt even have a recipt anymore. all good.
