Raising van...

Hi, As opposed t5o lowering the T25, has anybody raised one,I have some off road use for a single pick up,and wanted to lift the body,any advice or will Syncro parts offer me a raised truck?

The limitation is going to be the max. angle the CVJ's will tolerate. Modest lifts of 1-1 1/2" are probably OK but more than that you'd want to think about swapping the joints for Porche 924 units (GSF sell em for not much more than std units).

The rear is easy, the std. setup uses a big flat rubber washer at the top of the spring. I've lifted mine about 20mm using a second rubber washer, and a disc of the same size made from a plastic chopping board sandwiched between the two washers.

On a Syncro the front is harder as the spring sits in a shaped cup which is part of the damper. I'm sure something could be fabricated to act as a spacer, but haven't got around to that yet.
