Hi all, my break-lights are working intermittently i think it could be the switch, where is this located or any ideas.
( i have checked the bulbs etc)

The switch is in the master cylinder which is under the dash cowl.

Thanks.. just removed it and joined the wires and the lights came on, on my own so unable to test switch. some fluid came out do i need to bleed the brakes now that i have refitted it ? i may just buy a new switch as i think it intermittently works .

Any more info would be much appreciated

best get a new one
and depending on the amount of fluid loss if it were a few drips... I wouldn't bother

Not difficult though is it to bleed one brake, just to be sure
