Howdy
Have two - Camping Gaz 907- they fit oh so nice but I read that UK stopped these two years ago.
Apart from
1)converting the whole van to LPG - think Diesel
2)Commuting to Europe to buy Gas -
What fits? Anything? or move where to move bottles to? Just seeing what everyone else has done.
I believe the German (beige) 5kg bottles fit - (see2)

They had them on the camping gear stall at Bus Stop Over two weeks back and our local Yeomans still does them, Maybe a supply issue with where you usually get yours (?) but I'm sure they haven't stopped them. Still showing on the CG website. We carry a smaller 904 as a back up and have never had any trouble exchanging that one either.

If you have room for a German beige bottle, you could swap to Calor; we have a Calor propane in the space the German bottle used to sit, gaslow do an adapter or you could just get a new reg. Take a ride out to your nearest builders yard etc and see which size will physically fit in the space. They don't charge a deposit now, there's an option to waive it on the form you fill in by ticking a box that says "moving to Calor from other brand". It's a lot cheaper than CG too.

This time 2 years ago blue 907s were like rocking horse droppings, quite a few people struggled to get them and many peeps swapped to the 5kg 'stumpy' Calor.

Being a Screwfix special our van interior was built (by me) to hold a 7kg cylinder. We now have a s/h Westy underfloor tank HUGE improvement, however if I was unable to afford a leisure gas tank (Steve Gasure does them new) I'd invest in a Gasflow (?) refillable cylinder and have it correctly plumbed in to a permanent filler point.

ok ok take it allllllllllllll back found campinggaz in Edinburgh, hundreds and millions , handy as we're away for hols next week but I think I'll look into LPG tank / gaslow refillable when we get back - thanks all

I have a Gaslow refilable one in my van best thing I ever got! Tho I built my interior too and made it so i could get a decent size bottle in !

Found them in Edinburgh but ......Camping gaz 907 exchange refil 19.99 each for 2.2kg Two bottles So thats £40 for about a 5kg fill , bloody highway robbery

£14 for a 907 refill round here, could fetch some to 'Not by T'Onion for you, as we'll have two empty 907 cylinders by then (we're switching over to propane).

Thanks for the offer , we're all fulled up now hopefully last us a good while. Definitely going to investigate and see what I can get to fit in the way of a refillable propane - its the way forward I reckon -
