Hi, thanks for the interest - Matt it will be great to see you again, is the T25 going to be jumping again?!

With regard to the Helmet goggles, visor, gloves - you have to remember that the text was written for buggies usually without windscreen etc.

For the syncro entrants I would be happy with a Helmet only as you are behind glass and inside a cab. You would need to wear it if you are tackling the laps on the off road track or the harder of the trail sections - I would not want to open the door of a T25 after it had bounced off something hard to find a driver / passenger with a dented head! - you know it makes sense to be safe!

That said, Matt will tell you that it is not a competitive race weekend, more of an opportunity to relax amongst fellow off road enthusiasts. Be great to see more syncros, I have had a few T25's and would love a 4x4. My last van was raised with MT tyres on it to try and get 'the look'!

Spread the word...

Pat.

i take it that this helmit thing is not a joke?
i just tryed sitting in my van with 3 differnt motor bike crash hats on (open face, full face and a crosser) and i just do not fit in, i have to crook my head at 45 degrees to the middle to close the door. surly driving like this is not safe? at no point at SP or any outher time that i been off road have i felt that a crash hat is needed for safty in a syncro van.

again is this realy needed?

thanks neil

Neil, thanks for that information! It would appear then the Helmets will be an optional safety item for drivers of T25's !

Hope this helps as I really want a few of you guys at Mudstock 3.
