Is it possible to get bulb holders that allow you to just replace the bulbs?

My holders look like

but I can't for the life of me find any that don't have the damn bulb soldered into them

The only holders that seem to be available with removable bulbs are these which probably don't fit

Any help peeps?

If you are replacing with something "special" you can just plock them out of the old holders, that's how I ended up doing my LEDs as the ones they sent me were the wrong holder type.

I know, but I'm after some that will let me put led's in.

Looks like I'm going to have to solder after all :?

Well the holders I have shown above have the bulbs soldered in and I can't find the same holders without soldered bulbs

My lamps were barely soldered in. Most of the work was done by the springy bit on the holder holding the wire against the glass of the lamp which is pretty much how I inserted the LEDs back in, with one wire folded up each side.

I'm from the dark ages. When did they invent 12V LEDs?

Don't they just have the resistor built in? They are all over ebay, flashing ones and everything. There was a guy in Scotland selling "ultrabright" ones with a "T25" ready twist thing but his were expensive.

I purchased mine from a place Steve 80-90 linked on here and they were sold as direct replacements for the dash lights. I mucked up the order and got the wrong fitting.

Sit in the driver seat, reach over the pod with both hads and you will find places for your fingers at the very "front". Grip and pull up and back.

You will then be able to untwist the lamps.
