Can anyone tell what effect an oil cooler will have in the winter me thinks it will make the oil extra cool but will that have a detremental effect on the turbo engine e.t.c e.t.c

Cooler oil will be thicker and can slow a turbo down but at pretty much anything above 'first switched on' temperature it won't make a difference.

it won't have a detremental effect in the winter if you fit the right kit.
Cheap kits, or tight wads skimp and don't get the thermostatic take off plate.
