Hi,
The 'chrome' paint on my front grille is looking very tired. Can I buy a new front grille (round headlights) with the chrome already in place, or should I just repaint the original with a spray can? The black is looking very weathered too...any products to rejuvenate? in the words of spinal tap...how much more blasck can you get?

I've done this job so may be able to help here. First, repair any damage. You can repair missing chunks with body filler then smooth. Give whole lot a rub down with 800 (fine) wet & dry. Spray whole thing matt black (plenty of paint around that is designed for plastics) then mask and spray with silver or chrome on outer edge. Doubt you'll get an original with the silver outer but not too much work to spruce up.

To be honest I went even heavier on the chrome 'touches' on my Caravelle including respraying rear vents silver, fitting chrome mini wheel arch trim to gutters and to leading edge at front. The masking/spraying concept also spruces up tired window rubber trim too. I may spray whole of front grill silver at some point. Good luck.
