Re-trimming rear seats - AutoHomes?

Mine have had it and are being replaced with new covers, foam and bases. Normally they are permanently fitted to the plywood bases but I want the cushions as removable items and the option to invert them from time to time or take the covers off and wash em. Anyone done this and how did they secure them?

Had a set of loose covers for rnr from campercomforts. They're vinyl and fabric. They attach to the boards using two strips of velcro front to back. Used some left over vinyl to cover the board. The new foam is a vast improvement. Reversible would presumably need the velcro on both sides. Covers look great, my hamfisted attempt at stretching vinyl across plywood not so good, but overall very pleased. The seat pads are very secure with the wife and no 1 son sat on them.

Thanks Scoobert, I only want to turn them upside down when converting to a bed. I have a heavy duty stapler so attaching velcro to the boards would be a good option. Will also check the ones already made up from campercomforts.......... :ok

Angelo....our cushion covers and foam came from Pluss in exter....and they have a non-slip vinyl....that really is non-slip!! But for added reasurance, I have dome d shape cupboard handles (kitchen) bolted top the front edge of the wooden baed board. Can't invert them for sleeping, but they are removeable wand wshable. The material is also flame retardant, and a little bit waterproof as has a rubber backing.

Bought material off fleabay, and had it sent straight to upholsterer's with measurements from van. Search for Pluss in camping... :ok
