removing armrests on captains seats?

has anyone ever took the armrests of a captains seat,im having a right game trying to get them off,also i took the long bolt out of the adjuster and cant get it back in,any help or advice?

Fiddly but simple. Squeeze arm where it joins seat. You'll see rod with rolled pin in it. Drive rolled pin out. Pull arm off. Simple. You should be able to sort adjuster when its off. Hope that helps.
