I am looking for a garage in the Warrington / manchester area that can set up and tune my Carbs on a 2.0 l air cooled 81 T25. I have been told, to set them up correctly the bus needs to be run on a rolling road to set the carbs under load condition.

Hiya, we needed the same thing and the guy we went too new an awfull lot about carbs, didnt know much in terms of charisma area though, but who cares! He is exactly what you want, we are in manchester and used him but can't for the life of me think where abouts he was (it was a while back we used him) however steph at manchester air cooled will help you out if you tell him you need your carb sorting on a rolling road. Link/number below, just explain you got a T25 with a dodgy carb and he should give you the guys number:

Thanks for the replys, but i didn,t get a chance to set the carbs before Glastonbury, and paid the price, as we broke down 3 mile from the farm  and had to be towed in.
Looks like the best solution is to replace the twin solex for the single webber conversion.

Dont you just love fuel injection :ok

I used to know an old man who set my carbs on my old mini, he did it by ear, and was spot on every time.
