nuts

Hi
CAn anyone tell me the best way to remove small nuts that have been dropped down the oil ports on a 1.6 td.
Would you have to take the sump of??

I dropped a collett down an oilway on a Fiesta once when I was changing the valve stem seals and tappets. I left it alone as I was told it would get caught in the mesh in the sump and not re-circulate.

I'm no expert though.

Go to this website: http://www.mutr.co.uk/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; and you can buy small but very powerfull Rare Earth Magnets which you can firmly tie to a strong cord and fish about in the area untill you catch you "fish" Be absolutelly sure about the attachment though or you will lose the magnet as well!

Depends on how big the oil ports are. I tried that but wouldn't fit.

Found the nuts
they were nestled right undeneath the cams so happy now!!
