Van won't start. battery is good.
It's an ex ambulance. It's possible there's a device to stop it turning over when in gear and maybe it's malfunctioning and preventing it from turning over even when out of gear and when the clutch is down.
This is an intermittent problem, happened a couple of times in the last year, then suddenly started and I don't know why.

When I turn the key there's a noise from the back as if it knows I've turned the key but somethings not happening.

Any clues would be appreciated. AT the mo can't get the wife's car outa the garage cos the vans in front of it.

Clean all earth connections (one on the gearbox nose tend to get grott) then its poss down to the starter motor... or even just the solenoid (the contacts do get some hammer... but difficult to diagnose from here.....
