hi there

my idle note wavers up now and again and makes me think that the automatic choke is stuck on or is flapping on now and again. or is it the idle control box playing up? any ideas what i can do to rectify it?

I doubt its the choke but take a plug out and check the colour (after a run!). Could be any number of things........leaky vacuum advance, ignition, air leak, ...start with the easiest and cheapest.

hi mate how do i clean the vaccuum advance, is that on a watercooled petrol?
