If any of you guys know this off the top of your head I would be most grateful

Am dropping the petrol tank tommoz cos its leaking

Have previously read the Wiki article on vehicle fires and it scared the be-jezus out of me so its getting done

Gonna re-do the breather pipes regardless of where the leak is coming from, just hoping the tank isnt cream crackered. If it is it'll be a new tank and new breather pipes! :(

So if any of you guys know the dimensions / grade of the pipes, esp the large bore one that goes across the tank to the "T" / "Y" pieces I would be greatful and I can order some before I drop the tank

Cheers

Ben

large bore cross breather is plastic and clipped to the body, usually fine to reuse, it includes the fittings and is over £20 from vw new.
the flexi pipe is good old vw 5.5x3mm fuel hose, you should find it on ebay, you want 6 pieces 100mm long and two 145mm long; or someone on here was selling it a while back, probably bought a 5m roll and had some left. I've only got abot 300mm left in stock at the mo.

You'll prob find that 5.6mm fuel injection hose is available easily from a good motorfactors... but DONT get 1/4" as this will be too big... the hose will be marked with the dimension so check it before you buy...
