Hiya,

Has anyone got an exploded view image of the front final drive including the vc?

I've discovered that the clonk noise when a front wheel is jacked up is coming from the vc housing (loudish clonk when rotating wheel back and forth to test freeplay in whole final drive), trying to get a picture of how all that bit fits together with the front diff to work out what the noise might be.

VC is still working afaik.

Check the CV's first, one of mine is bad and makes loud clonks while driving and men pulling the axle. If your inner CV is bad it could sound like it was the diff.

I looked at it in ETKA and there are about 5 different drawings to the whole thing.

Mine did its bollox last week.



Unless you have a spare under the seat i would get it done if it is, they only hold on for so long before you give it full lock and its crunch!!!!!
