Hi All,

While giving both front doors a good refurbish, I have noticed that the return spring attached to the trigger catch on the outer handle has given up the ghost.

Does anyone know if its possible to change the spring without too much grief. All I`ve been able to find are complete replacement handles which is an expensive way to change a spring and leaves me carrying two keys around. I`d be grateful for any cheap and simple solutions.

I suppose if you have a pin punch small enough to push the roll pin from the release lever , all you would need to do is find a suitable spring to complete the job.....

Personally I'd be changing the complete handles and simply swap the existing lock barrels to suit the replacement handles...

Thanks for the advice, looks like a new handle and swap the lock barrel seems the way to go.
