Can anyone help?

I have just bought a 1981 Westy with a fridge that just doesn't seem to work. I have checked that there is a 240v, 24v and gas supply present to the fridge.

I AM STUMPED?

Remove it from the vehicle and invert it for a couple of hours the re-fit it, it is summat to do with the refrigerant which needs to be agitated for it to work .If the refrigerant has settled over a period of time the cooling process will not work.

If it still doesn't work after this simple procedure it will be what is known in the trade as 'shagged out'.

Ok, i have taken the fridge out turned it upside down, cleaned the jet etc and had a look at the electrics.

I have found that the 240v element is open circuit and will need replacing? I have also found that the 12v relay is also not energising and will need replacing?

Does anyone know where i may be able to get these parts for my Electrolux RM184EGI pse??

I have found the element at Ashbridge domestic appliance spare parts for £39.00, the relay is apparently no longer available. However i have the mistake of testing the relay not knowing that it only energises when the engine is running.
