Hi, sorry if ive posted in the wrong section - im still pretty new here and currently badly finding my way around.
As in previous posts - my girlfreind and i have been looking at bays, then saw an auto sleeper and since then seemed to have gone off the bays, and now want a t25.
Looked at a few but nothing has been quite right yet.
This link is for a import westy near(ish) to us.
Its got a buy it now price of £4k - which seems a little cheap for an import westy - or does that seem right for this?
Any advice much appreciated as we really dont want to view if there is something obvious or massively bad im missing!

Many thanks

I appreciate you started looking out for a Bay so the round headlamps/chome bumpers are a kinda minimalist relection of the earlier Bay window but as you have probably found out the 'bling' extras such as big bumpers/side planks/square headlamps/carat wheels are what bung on the value and that fact will serve you well in this case as those things obviously do not appeal to you as a prospective buyer.
The paint looks a little tired although it's hard to tell with such poor detail, general surface rust but look at all the obvious places carefully (wheel arches/front steps/wheel arch seat belt anchorage points/corners of the windsreen/seams/rear boot lock.
Auto would put me off a bit and low MPG on the 1.9 wasserboxer but then you already know those things. Make sure everything does work inside...the seller saying he hasn't worked out the heaters could be just hiding the fact that they don't work, having said this it does depend on a good leisure battery with over 11volts to work. These things moght be minor but can cost £££££'s to sort out. Definately drive, listen for noises, look for smoke, smoothe gearchange etc no water leaks from the engine etc.
On the face of it....this doesn't seem like a bad buy.

Cheers - keep it coming!
Im still struggling to get my head around the differences in what adds value to a T25 in comparrison to a bay!
With the bay it was all - make sure its original bumpers etc, original paint so you know you wont get rust popping through in 6 months time.
((i obviously am still influenced by the bays as noted - as i was looking at it thinking a brown leather bonnet bra, and some subtle brown contrasting stripes, some classic wheels, brown leather retrim etc and this would be right up my street and protect all the original interior thats left.

Aghhh...don't ever publish the van price and your budget in the one thread....whose to say the seller isn't a member on here!!!!!!
can't haggle if they know how much you have to spend!!!
Take a multi-meter with you when you view, and check voltage of batteries. If leisure is 11volts plus, it should have enough battery to work, as pointed out above, so thre is sommat else wrong.

Seller says" There is a heating system on the camper but I can't work out if or how it works"
Answer is It does not work.(Thats the usual reason)
If its worth 7.5k with a respray, why have they not done his?
Its questions you need to ask yourself.

Budget disclosure - Good point - but im also not desperate for a van, and very sutbborn! ie im more willing to walk away than go over my budget pre set budget.
My budget is set based on the individual van, i have a figure based on a nice van that has everything working - once bits go missing and things dont work...my budget for the buying of the van drops and then drops some more when taking into consideration the time required to rectify!
