"Strange". Can you be a bit more specific? Rotting meat? Pee? Burning? Plastic? Inside the fridge or outside? It shouldn't smell of anything even when running on gas. When was it last used? Carbon monoxide is odourless anyway as far as i know.

Is it a dutch fridge? If so it might be carbon dibaxcide you're smelling?
Sorry, couldnt resist it!

Carbon Monoxide is completely Odourless however you could be smelling the combustion fumes
it could also be a gas leak LPG gas is also odourless but so you know you have a problem the nice people who bottle it put an astringent in with it ie a nasty niff
I would seriously recomend not using it and removing the gas bottle then getting it checked by a qualified person caravan sales places normally can recomend someone if they dont do it themselves
Dont take any chances its not worth it

Ah yes, my potty humour will get me into trouble.
A 'Dutch oven' is explained here
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dutch_oven ... ical_joke). If you say out loud 'carbon de backside' you'll see I mean f a r t. Apply the same principle to a fridge ...
Maybe someone guffed in the fridge and shut the door.

This joke is so obscure that even having read it a couple of times I am non the wiser. Perhaps you need to be Dutch to appreciate the subtler nuances of the humour?

No, just childish! I'm 41 going on 11, so still find fart jokes funny. I'll try to explain in grown-up language.
If one farts in bed and holds one partners head under the covers, thats a 'Dutch oven'.
So farting in a fridge and shutting the door leaving a bad smell for the next opener, is a 'Dutch fridge' I reckon.
Carbon dibaxcide (de backside) is a fart.
I've gone on so long now I've probably ruined the 'joke', but at least it should be clear to all now.
I'll get my coat.

You're disgusting you lot! I have eaten a 415 gram tin of Heinz Baked beans every day for over fifty years and am rarely afflicted with the passing of wind. I am however constantly reminded about the inadequacy of my fellow humans food processing systems and poor manners by the constant repetition of this type of low - some might even say gutter - humour. Come on people try to raise the standard a little!
