on a number of occasions my sliding door has kept on sliding..... till it hits the floor.
this usually hapens when the front of the van is pointing uphill, or when the door is opened with a bit too much energy.

anyone know how i can stop this happening.

apart from parking on flat ground, and opening the door gently, of course

on the bottom runner there should be a rubber stop at the end of the door travel on the pillar,if this has come off it will make the bottom of the door go too far...or ...worst still..the pillar has rotten at the bottom and its pushed the rubber into the pillar.mine has gone there  a nice hole where the rubber stop goes..another fiddly welding job
and i think there should be one at the top on the top runner to stop the door..i think

just had a look in mine and theres a rubber set into the bodywork on the top where the roller hits...i suppose you could get a normal rubber door stop and shape it to fit the bottom and glue it in..or better still screw it to the pillar once you know it works...just an idea :ok
