oil type for diesel

Not sure why i can't find a simple answer for this, but what type of oil should i be sticking in my 1y 1.9 diesel na engine?

On the jx (1.6 td) I use what VW recommended: 10 W 40, semi synth, VW Norm 50500

Thanks. Not sure if there's a difference between turbo and non-turbo though. Just seen on brick yard that the CS, KY and JS all take 15W/40. Mine's also a non turbo, so guessing 15W/40 will be ok? Can anyone confirm this?

15w40 can be ok too, VW Norm 50500 mentioned somewhere on the label would be nice though
