i want to drain the water and refill with new coolant and water mix.

is it a good idea to use the coolant drain plug or avoid it due to it maybe being siezed due to age?

how else can i drain the block and rad? can i unclip the bottom rad hose?

and then there's bleeding the system .. any tips?!

:S

I'd leave the head drain plugs alone ... just inviting something else to leak in the future if you ask me  ... the rad hose will suffice.
