I also run a 1.6 CT ......
Two options really...either live with it or sell it!!
65 is the top end if you are lucky and it takes a long time to get there.
Chill out and enjoy causing traffic jams :ok

I dont get it, why you want to go more than 70? in a t25? have you seen the crash test?

If fact, FI go faster!

On a good day I can get 85-90 out of mine. Just have to ease off a bit as the webers are a tad noisy and I can't hear me stereo!
Reminds me every time to add some soundproofing. Now... where is that soundproofing post!
I have got the 4 speed 2L box on there though, never be able to do it with the last gear ratio on the original CT gearbox, me engine would fly apart!

Jeez, just from a 2l box!!

Theres a bit more to it than just a 2l box though. There's new heads with 30% larger ports, high ratio rockers, new bores, new pistons/rings and dual twin IDF weber 40s.
It was mainly the heads that let these engines down. The valve guides wear and let oil through causing excessive smoking. Hoping the new ones don't! :D
