ball joint replacement any idea how much £??

the van we were doing up for our friend needs a front suspension ball joint
doing for the mot,. can anyone please give me an idea what it might cost just to get the one
replaced so i can prepare myself for what this total bill's going to come to
??? our garage is a fairly
reasonable one i think, but i'm more than a little worried
