Is there more than one combination of petrol sender and dash gauge?
The reason I ask is my petrol gauge always reads under. It moves in proportion with the amount of fuel left in the tank. My van is a bit mix and match of parts so I wondered if I have a sender that is not matched to the gauge. Could I have an early sender with a late gauge problem or something similar?

Thinking about it again I've got an early dash anyway so it should match the early sender, so it was a bit of a silly question really
