Looking at my nearside front Im sure the bottom of the wheel is further out than the top. I have posted about sqeeky suspension that side and I think its the top wishbone bushes. Its passed MOT and no obvious play in the suspension there. Ive read about camber castor adjustment and adjustments. Now the reaction strut adjustment seems easy to understand and do, but I cant work out the the upper wishbone adjustments and Im not sure i should do that bit. Anyway given the angle of the wheel whats your opinion on what needs to be done. Without throwing my cheque book at it? I can measure angles etc and I understand tracking so I can get info if you tell me whats needed.

Camber. Check/replace any worn bushes or bearing before adjustment, camber is adjusted with the eccentric bolt that hold on upper arm bushes, tracking will need adjustment after.

Thanks. I wonder is anyone can describe a way I might check for wear. visually i cant draw any conclusions yet. Is dismantling the only way in which case my garage can do it.

Old thread I know, but is there a description anywhere on checking camber and caster - ? are these diy'able or a garage job?

the link above, http://194.242.159.246/brickyard/info/geometry.htm , does not work

anyone got any recommendation for someone in essex to do the measurement/adjustment?

I had the tracking checked at one of the tire fitting centres. They said that the camber angle was needing adjustment which would be an extra charge £60.00.The guy who did the measurements used this modern lasor computer equipment and new about how to adjust the camber .When i looked at my van jacked up i noticed the clowns had used the gearbox as a jacking point .I had a row with the manager i said he needed to go back to school. If you need the name of the centre pm me.
