Sliding door issues.

My sliding door has a mind of its own! Occasionally going over speed humps or doing a hill start the door will just open itself, which can be quite alarming.
Is this just a simple adjustment? I've had a look in the Haynes manual and I can't seem to find anything to do with the actual latch adjustment. Any ideas would be greatfull.
