Has anyone flipped their van on its side? Ive heard you can do this to a bay by putting a matress down and giving it a big push

Then if you have big jobs underneath they can be tackled easily.

Not mine, but have seen it done on a bay, lean it over towards a wall using trolley jacks and wooden props, use a matress along the wall. It balances quite far over, then support with the wood to stop it rolling back, or strops to tie it to the wall.

Wow, that is a mission, not a project. Good luck sir!!
Loved my bay, had to de seam the roof, and do the bottom foot of body work when she was just 18 years old!!
T3's are much better made, but then they would be.

good luck... gotta admit that it was scarey when we got to the point that the bus wanted to "go". if you have a 4x4 mad friend they will prolly have a hi-lift jack (or two) .. they help a lot.
haven't figured out exactly how I'm going to get the bay back over when she's finished underneath yet
good luck and keep us posted

Yep i have a friend with one of those, what scares me the most is the violent landing after getting so far over. The panels dont look if they will take the hit. How many matressess?
