How many RHD?

I was just wondering how many RHD 14" syncros were made? Camper and Bus mentions 2108 as a figure in this month's issue - is this correct?

Cheers,

Ben

Of the 43468 Syncro's produced (German Production figures). 2108 were RHD 14". I think C&C probably get their info from here;

l have got one (doka) that was assembled in japan, Camper and Bus march 07 says 43.468 syncros were produced 14.334 as caravelles, 14.605 as kombis/bus and much fewer single/double cabs. and as you said just 2.108 rhd produced. would be intresing if any could confirm this.

...and as you said just 2,108 RHD produced.

Does this include South African Syncros?

What would be nice to know is the production figures for RHD Single cab, DOKA, panel vans etc.. Of the 2108 RHD Syncros manufactured how were they divided between these? Someone must know.
Well off to the workshop to save another from tinworm :D

Well going by that logic..............There should of been, give or take a few.............
750 caravelles, 750 panel vans, & 550 double/single cabs.

:ok

How many RHD Twin sliding door windowed vans did they make?

Are they rare, desirable or junk?

Well again, totally off the top of my head & what I've seen about, twin sliders have got to be less that 10% of caravelles made...so 50-75. But are they more desirable than a normal RHD caravelle. In general, probably not, maybe more sort after for a LHD though.

Hi folks,

no one has the correct numbers of syncro production. Only Mangnasteyr in their archives. All numbers on websites are estimated ones.

I find it hard to comprehend that between VW and Magna Steyr, they dont know what they have made. If that was the case with a company in Ireland, it would be because there is a major fiddle going on / political interference

Who mentioned Deloriem.... (How you spell it?)

But surely all Syncros were sold through VW?
