just bought a pair of sqaure cab unimogs to play with,one is a 1983 u1000 with all singing and dancing agri stuff on and tother is a 1993 RHD u1200 turbo which ive just finished fitting a fresh 174 hp motor to it,ive had several mogs in the past so its time for some modern-ish ones now,gonna struggle to find things to stop these off road as nothing seems to faze em,cj

suppose you got em super cheap too eh!!!!

I nearly bought a 404 instead of the syncro... in some ways I wish I had... but in many others glad I didnt.....

Of course CJ, if you can now go further than anyone else, who will pull you out when you get stuck?

I work at a shop that besides VW service sells used Unimogs and Pinzgauers. They had a customer who somehow got his unimog stuck in mud. They used a 6x6 pinz to get it out !

Now I would give up my day job for that, one man band operation, drive your syncro to work, sleep in it. Work in the mog and the feller. Bliss.

Just the 300,000 investment to find. oh well.
