Van off the road all winter, last couple of months kitchen out, panel replaced - lower half respray.
Last two weeks every night out putting kitchen back in and getting everything working.
Made van baby and toddler proof (ish) again)
Added a load of those tweaks that make camping peasureable (catchnet across door, covers on switches etc.)
All the packing for a long weekend away scattered across the house
Some walks and activities researched
A 1 week old nephew to visit.
Up early to finish the packing for 3 hrs over to Aberdeenshire.
.......and the baby has gastro explosions
so all is off for
this weekend......
Ho hum........

will just have o make the best of it.

Such a shame!

Hope you soon get away in it.
Did you by any chance make a few notes / take a few photos whilst removing your Autosleeper furniture? It's something I need to do before next winter, so any info would be very helpful.
Cheers
Tony

Tony, Yes - I took notes - labelled up the panels and took some pics with the aim of doing an "autosleeper Kitchen Removal" thread.
I will get this done in the next couple of weeks.
For starters - it is well built! Both glued and stapled generally. If you do it in the right order tehn it comes apart quite well - I only took it down to the framework (left that up) doors bases and sides of most units.
The inside of the fridge panel was as most describe/photograph - floor wasn't too badly gone.
Chipbord floor was a bit of a bugger to lift - I only did about 9 inches in - it seemed to be screwed and glued (1990s "no more nails"!).
Biggest task was probably getting everything working again (heater, water, fridge, cooker)and testing that gas wasn't leaking (new loives and sealing compound).
More to come ....
