Wheel bearing ?

My van a T25 78ps 1988- has just passed the MOT ( good news!) But today It has started making a terrible droning noise. I have noticed it before but not this loud, I would have thought this would of been picked up at MOT. Any thoughts ??

Jack it up and rock the wheels along the vertical plane and check for excessive play. Haynes manual describes adjustment for front if thats any help. Does it quieten down around corners, bends? Check tyres too.

Typical sign of a loose/worn bearing. You will have to check them, front might just need adjusting and simple to do. Check the wiki see if there is any info there but described in the Haynes manual if you have one.

OK, Thanks I'll check tomorrow, I've got my kiddies this weekend .I'm assuming it should still be safe to drive?

I have learn't never to assume anything, I would check that the bearing nuts are secure if nowt else!
