leaks on floor

CAn anyone explain to me why I may be getting a pool of water on the passengers side (lhd) on the floor.
To narrow it down a bit!!
The front of the van seems to have no visible holes arround the windscreen or any where else on the front.

Could it be due to the windows scrappers leaking as the window is loose in its frame or failing that could it be the coolent pipes leaking
Any ideas appreciated.
Steve

Leaking water from the door window should run out at the bottom of the door, there are holes there especially for that, so that can be pretty much exluded.

Prime suspect would be a leaking windscreen frame and the hole might well be hidden behind the rubber seal. Other suspects woudl be antenna holes, windscreen wiper spindels or windscreen washer holes ...perhaps even washer fluid itself, but that's unlikely. Another possible route for water inside is the fresh air channel behind the top grille, take that off and have a poke around the edges above the radiator.

The heater matrix could also be leaking, but then you would find coolant, not water.

Quite simple to explain,,,,,water ingress on these vehicles in that area can be related to the windscreen leaking, ,,,,,,water drops down on to the re-enforcement bar below the dash, then at its lowest point (next to the heater) it falls off on to the floor mat :o and you end up with a puddle that looks like it has come form no where.

So unless you want to fully remove the dash to identify the entry point the quick fix is to buy some windscreen sealer and then seal each corner of the screen, ie, glass to rubber, then rubber to window frame,,,,,,,

Screen sealer::: fits on a corking gun...cut tip on an angle so it can be pushed between the rubber and the screen, then squeeze the sealer in the gap and simply clean off excess sealer with a plastic filler spreader and finish off with a good quality de-greaser....

... or ...

You could do it properly, take out the windscreen, deal with the holes and rust that you will find (before they get any worse) and put the windscreen (or maybe even a new one without scratches) back in complete with new seal.

I also had this puddle problem on the passenger side footwell , my source of ingress was the pillar mounted aeriel , a little sealant under the rubber seal of the aeriel mount cured the problem .
