new old springs

Hey guys,

Just replaced the broken left front spring for a second hand one (unthinking idiot that I am). Result is that the left front (driver's side) is now about 3 cm lower than the right front.
Don't have the money yet for 2 new springs for both left and right.

Question: Can I drive safely and without messing too much up down there?

Thanks,

Steve

If ya can't afford to mend it properly it shouldn't be on the road.

Sorry for the bollocking but it might be my family coming the other way when you lose control of your 2 tonne van.

Did it all go back together properly, including the rubber 'top hat' on the top of the spring? I only ask cos I've just replaced both front springs with new with no discernable change in ride height, so the old ones were riding at the same height as the new ones.
