Just about to start on convertion my panel van to a hightop.
1st stage is to fit 2 side windows.
Just for peace of mind, what is the standard height of kitchen units ie floor to top of work top?
Also what is the "norm" for the distance between the top of the work top (over the sink/cooker)
and the bottom of the window rubber. I'm having it done in a body shop but would like to know. Could someone measure their's for me?
Thanks

Oh yes and another thing. I am supplying the windows and the rubbers. Their quote for labour is £70.00 + vat per window. Is this about right?

hello mate
i have just recently had two windows fitted to my panel van(1 plain glass on the sliding door and 1 slider behind the driver) and i paid £110+vat for the two windows and the windscreen to be fitted. This was the cheapest quote i had the other two quotes i got came in at £190 cash so i think your price isnt to far out.

im just of to work now but i will measure the units in the morning and let you know the distances that i have.
