rear window replacement

I thought I might as well get all my questions out of the way in one go!

I am going to replace the rear winscreen (plastic double galzed - westfalia) - to cure a leak. I have a replacement seal from Just kampers - they say no sealant necessary howver the Bentley "Official factory repair manual" suggests a bead of sealant is required.

Any thoughts/experience of this - if sealant required what variety/make is recommended.

many thanks

IMHO, I think you would be far better putting the window back in 'DRY' then water testing and only then sealing as neccessary....

If you do need any sealant of any kind then this is the sort of stuff you can use, then only the corners need to be sealed..... :D
