will 17" wheels off mk3 v5 golf fit the bus

yo dudes....ive looked on the wiki n cant find anything about these...............someone asked me lastnight if i wanted some 17" alloys off a v5 mk3 golf.....with 215/45/17 tyres on.........anyone got the lowdown on these as normal golf wheels certainly dont go.....but the v5 golfs are supposidly quite different................and also i think i have to have "c" rated tyres on the bus,or am i wrong there guys.................

Jeds got Golf GTi wheels on his camper but it cost him more money to get the spacers made than it cost to buy the wheels,wrong stud pattern. don't know about the v5 thing but would be suprised if the stud pattern was diferent.

Earliest V5 golf on vagcat seems to be 1998 and the 17" alloys are 5X100 pcd.
If that's correct I don't think they wil fit without expensive spacers, Jeds were a one off, but that was about 5 years ago.

5 stud with a CPD of 100...T25 needs a CPD of 112 to fit direct.
