Blowing hot air

My heater is blowing hot air all the time, even when set to cool flow & it's getting mighty hot in the cab. The cooling system seems ok, so is it problem with the heater itself?

yep - like mine the wires that are attached to the levers are no longer connected to the flaps that open and shut the vents!

I hve been told its a dash off job....which I have not yet had the guts to do.....so i open the window.... :D

If its an Aircooled, then the easy way is to cable tie the flaps, open in winter + closed in summer. 5 minute job for both sides. Easiest if you remove the rear wheel for access
