Hi

Tonight we was removing the LPG system from out 1600cc air cooled T25 and just want to comfirm a few things

Image

Image

Is this the proper fuel pump? as it has connections off to the what looks like the LPG cut out switch

Image

Gather cable coming out back on right hand side which goes to the fuel pump is correct as the LPG system looks like it was fitted by the well know company of Bodge and Co LTD :rollin :rofl

Image

Is pipe in square red box ment to go onto where red arrow points on carb instead of the blanking plate?

One last question of many more to come i suspect is where have they hid the engine number on the 1600 Air cooled motor???

As you can tell we don't have a haynes manual yet

Thanks for any help :ok

To answer your question,,,,,,,,No that fuel pump is not a standard fitment, it is an electric alternative more than likely used to compliment the Bodge and Co LPG system , so it can be switched on and off....

The pipe in the RED box is the fuel return to the tank,it should really be fitted to the carb,,,,,,,,, and the one fitted to the carb is doing nothing as you can see....other than being blanked off.

Your engine number will become quite apparent once all the shyte has been cleaned off the engine casing......

Regards

Fritz,,,,,,,,,,, :D

I like it Bodge & Co, :D that pump is actually quite a high quality pump, they are usually mechnical and sat on the top of the engine where that blanking plate is, the pipe arrowed is the fuel return back to the tank and should have a one way valve on it, do you have any paperwork for the conversion? do you actually know who did it? and why are you removing it?
