The Vitara and it's contents (the clerk of the course *snigger*) were all fine.....

Was a cracking weekend, and the coldest camping I've EVER EVER been on - made Dubfreeze look like spring bank.....

Piccies to follow tomorrow.....:D

Then I'm going to bed - several hours of sleep and heat to catch up on....

Andy was actually stuck here /\

Marcus proving a wheel hub can easily support it's own weight in mud

This Subaru Justy could get up anything (was the same guy who had the meccano 1950's tractor style modded thingie). We were all particularly impressed with the fact he'd got a sunroof, in case he got a bit warm....

Saturday, because of all the rain recently and the clay soil, it was ridiculously claggy. Marcus and BBB had to pretty much give up with their tyres by afternoon. Sunday it was much better, thawing out and turning softer - didn't fill the treads and turn em to slicks half so much.....

Marcus van does look good - and he only dinged one corner of a bumper too.....Andy managed a little adaptation to one sill....... :P

Hey that looks great fun, Andy's grin says it all, even if he was stuck!

the annoying thing bout being stuck was I'd driven down it bout hour before and it seemed ok, then on way up the tyres just clogged up. After couple attempts I stopped with front wheels over the top but well n truly stuck. Ah well

The mud was really bad on the saturday, I struggled to get back the camping bit whereas Jen just breezed across on her Macho's. Me thinks it's time to invest 8)

cheers to all that helped on it's road to recovery, Si, the Nutz, HSBC and everyone else

6 months driving the van about has made a world of difference, had a lot better feel for things this time, was quite chuffed actually!
