anyone got a bracket that goes between the 2 front seats to mount an lcd to ,on the head liner.if so got any pics ?
when out in it yesterday for the night and i thought this would be a good place for it to go rather than on the sink top :?

i was thinking of getting a proper bracket from tesco's and making an extra mount for the cab roof...unless theres a better way :ok

well weldore, what a great picture of your £0.00 solution

RAM mounts impressed me, Dai has one which looked perfik...

I've a parellelogram arm screen mount, bolted to the inside panel of the pax seat box, which swings a round nicely supporting a laptop over the lap of the pax for navigation

:ok im off out in it tomoz for the night so ill take some pics of it then.its not a fixture for on the move but its perfect for when your parked up for the night...all you need is two bits of flat ..mines 25 x 3 mm...about 250 mm long .thats to mount it....then theres the rest of the plumbing to sort out after :ok

I look forward to the pics Weldore, looking for something for ours.

Bought the playstation, just want something to watch it with, seems that a torch pointing upwards with the film betwixt your fingers doesn't work anymore!!! (younger'uns won't know about this! :ok !)

fixed to lcd...

and tv hung on rear view mirror..

mines a 15" lcd and really theres no weight to it and the mirror supports it with ease..also you an swivel the mirror so you get the screen in the perfect position...also the brackets dont look out of place on the tv so they can stop on it. :ok

Nice solution to the problem. I have thought about this myself. I use a RAM mount for my GPS for a few years and am well impressed with it. They are a quite pricey but worth the dosh.

Thanks, elegant

The RAM mounts are great for use on the move, it's just wading through their dreadful descriptions to find what you 'think' you need to do the job

Aha have a better idea . My wife picked up a digital tuner you plug into your laptop to turn it into a Tv , for only £20 from Aldis. The bonus is that you have a built in DVD/ computer ...though it still has to sit on the sink.

yeah..the whole idea was to get the tv out of the way...we prolly wouldnt really use it if we were camping with friends but just for a weekend get away its ok to relax infront of the box before going to sleep....gail loves her soaps too.
with the seats reclined right back it would be just about right for your kids on the playstation too mark, and it keeps em in the cab out of your way :ok

might not be to everyones taste but well like i say..it works a treat for me.
