Has anyone fitted east german shocks and springs off of ebay?

They are alot cheaper than the AVO shocks and springs.

Is it just a case of, you get what you pay for or could they be good???

Just need to know cos there is 150 squid difference.

Jim :D

The ebay seller has had a couple of people who've bought T25 kits leave feedback that they're happy - I'll try and contact them on ebay and see what they have to say.

I think it's all subjective and down to what you expect from the kit quite often.

i have had two cheap sets of springs and dampers on by bus. i have now got avo springs and dampers, the avo setup is the only one in my opinion that is an improvment on standard, olso think that each time you change the sus you will have to have it tracked and cambered, that costs money, i would recomend to do it once go for the best you can afford. :D

just curious

How could the kit be "east German"? East Germany went out of production even before the T3

East Germany did but the people didn't - I live among them.

On the original topic - don't go cheap unless you like annual replacement activities.
Over here the business is Koni Reds with HR springs, but you're looking at +400 yoyos.

Avo are "pooh", especially the rears, unless your looking for a ball point pen spring, there about has strong has lead, and sag within months, get H+R green and way up the differrence, it shouts at you straight away. Avo,lol
